Influencer Sweater
The Influencer Sweater is a color block, pullover sweater with drop sleeves, worked bottom up, and a slightly relaxed fit. Influencer got its name from being influenced on social media to try a sweater from an online clothing store. The sweater didn’t fit me right, so I designed one with that inspiration.
The Influencer Sweater is size inclusive and the length is customizable to your preference. Even though it is designed with drop sleeves, sizes 2XL - 5XL have shoulder shaping so that the sleeve line falls at a similar place to sizes XS - XL. The pattern provides directions for two different lengths: waist (brown sample) and hip length (pink sample). However you can customize it shorter to a crop as well.
Not only is the sizing inclusive but the pattern includes separate directions for left and right-handed makers. No image flipping or color flipping required for left-handed makers! When you download the pattern, there will be two versions. So make sure you are using the correct one.
Don’t be scared of the colorwork. The pattern provides tutorials to help and it is much easier than you might think! The color work is actually addicting and enjoyable. Choose three colors and you are ready to add this modern handmade piece to your wardrobe.
