Welcome to Violet Loops

Hi, I’m Jen — the designer and maker behind Violet Loops.

Violet Loops began with me designing home accessories for my own space — pillows, blankets, and small pieces that made my home feel cozy and creative. It didn’t take long before I caught the garment design bug, and soon I was completely hooked on creating crochet garments and accessories that felt wearable, comfortable, and full of texture.

In 2021, I learned Tunisian crochet, and it quickly became my favorite craft. I was fascinated by the new textures I could create — fabrics that had depth and flow, without the typical “knot” look of traditional crochet. Tunisian opened up an entirely new world of stitch possibilities, and I’ve been exploring them ever since.

Then in 2024, I picked up knitting, and before long, I found myself designing knit patterns too. Now, I love reimagining ideas across all three crafts — seeing how a concept, texture, or color palette transforms when worked in crochet, Tunisian crochet, and knitting.
